Board not working

Hi,

I've just soldered together my board and it doesn't appear to be working. I've connected it to the TV and no picture or sound. When I connect the board via USB to laptop it isn't detected automatically as I had expected. Any idea what went might have gone wrong? I've checked the chip is in the right way.

How many TVs have you tried?

Are any components warm?

Does the Arduino IDE recognize the device?

Where are you located (what country)?

Please feel free to send hi-resolution good quality photos of the back of the board so I can have a look at the soldering.

Hi again,

I've read the troubleshooting guide, but can't seem to find the problem. I've only tried it on one TV. None of the components get warm when it's plugged in and arduino IDE doesn't recognise the device. I'm located in the UK and ordered the hackvision from cool components. I'll send you some pics of the soldering.
