    Curious if the Video Experimenter could be used to detect a blue screen like a VCR outputs when no signal is present? I see you can digitize video, but I don’t see anything about detecting color.

    Curious what approach I could use with the video shield or if there is an existinf arduino project that would be a good start?

    No, I’m afraid that video processing on an Arduino is limited to sensing the brightness of the pixel, not the color. I don’t know of a way to do it.
    There is obviously a real need in the market for more video processing/generating tools.
