This is my second board and both have done the same exact thing. Seems to work just fine for a few days then it will freak out and half the strip with light up solid and super bright and just stay on not flashing to the music. If I then turn the power off and back on a few random leds will come on at half brightness but they don’t flash either. It’s like it freezes up. Again this is my second board and both have done the same exact thing. All my connections are perfect. I planned on adding another strip so built a 5 amp power supply using 5 lm7805 voltage regulators wired parallel to drop down the voltage from a 12v regulated power supply. I am wondering after reading the warning label on the bag about static if having the board mounted in a metal box could be a possible issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. And yes, the blue light on the board flashes 3 times and then stays on fine. Gregg
