The regulator warms a lot,And after 10 seconds, the condenser 100uF in burned(blown) out
I used a I used a 9v 700maI checked(controlled) the welds, no probléme.
I looked if a weld does not get(touch) another weld. No, no problem
I do not go you sent back(dismissed) piéces because I have déja paid a big tax of douane:35 dollards!(douane Française!!!!)It’s a pity because this project interested me a lot
A little disappointed all the same

Can you please send high quality photographs of the top and bottom of board to michael@nootropicdesign.com
I will look carefully at the device.
December 14, 2011 at 10:59 pm #1263MichaelKeymasterquestion: is your power supply center positive? That is, does it have the correct polarity?
December 14, 2011 at 11:03 pm #1264laurentMemberyes,
I checked it before connecting.
I also checked(controlled) the voltage to be safe(8,8v
9v700ma
December 14, 2011 at 11:20 pm #1265MichaelKeymasterThe 100uF capacitor may have been defective.
Now that it is gone, what happens if you connect power? Does the voltage regulator still get hot?
If your power supply outputs clean 9V, then the capacitor is not really required.
December 14, 2011 at 11:37 pm #1266laurentMemberIt is for it that I removed the condenser,
The regulator no chauufe not any more, but that does not work .
