MemberHello
I believe I have connected the Arduino Uno correctly using the IDC cable but I can’t get any of the example programs to function
Is this the place to get help with that?
If so, I’ll be more specific with what’s going on
Mega-thanks!

KeymasterAre you using the RGB Matrix Backpack board? It sounds like you are using an Arduino and an IDC cable. This is the forum for the nootropic design backpack board. For help with the panel, I suggest the Adafruit forum:

http://forums.adafruit.com/viewforum.php?f=47I put the cable on order so – for now – I had to use the Uno.
It’s all good – I got it working and it’s a phenomenal LED board – I wrote several cool, simple & easy programs that look great (IMO – ha).
It looks like the cable will be here mid-week and I’ll be able to use my RGB Matrix Backpack. I was able to solder the RGB matrix backpack together correctly – the demo worked great. 🙂

KeymasterGlad you are having fun. It’s such a nice display!
Yeah, it would be great to post some cool stuff to YouTube or something!

MemberHi guys
I’m new to programming this kind of matrix do you guys have any resources/tips on where I could learn how to do more or any leads on any effictive GUIs out there? I’ve been playing with the EMS Peggy2 board (640 LEDs woo hoo!) and have been having an awesome time, and gotten a bunch of the example sketches to load on this board… but haven’t made any of my own yet.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
