[/img]My name is Ricardo Luna (MrLunacy) I am a prop maker / artist in st pete florida . The last couple of weeks I have been working on an airsoft prop bomb wich was nicknamed by my old paintball team The “Enchilada Grande” as we also did not wanna keep saying the word “Bomb out loud in front of strangers so. As we are making the transition from paintball to airsoft I wanted a prop that our team can be proud of . I recieved the clock it’s amazing piece of workmanship I just need a little help I want to hook up more LEDs and some other fans and other odds and ends I was just wondering where I can hook up to on the board or if I have to add something to be able to tap into . I will be using a wall plug and maybe a lipo battery for game play where plugs would be an issue to find in the outdoors . is this an ok route to take to power it ? . Also wanna look into programming for some type of airsoft software if you have come up with one by now . Will be glad to pay for the cost of the programming

Wow, great work. The microcontroller only has one available pin to connect to something external, so I’m afriad that the Defusable Clock isn’t going to be that extensible unless you are skilled with electronics design. Here is an article about using the trigger pin to connect to something external like a relay or one other device that draws only a small amount of current (< 20mA). https://nootropicdesign.com/projectlab/2014/10/28/using-a-relay-trigger-with-the-defusable-clock/

As for custom programming, we offer that in our store for a nominal fee. Some examples are given. I’ve done a lot of this for Airsoft teams.

Also what’s the best lipo or other hobby battery I can use for max life on the field ?.

Another question I have is is there any way to add a video on a small screen on the lid of the bomb ? like a laughing skull or a hooded character something I can record with a cam and then add to the case .

I wanna add a movie style quality to the next airsoft game . I am pretty handy with soldering and love rc cars and rc planes so I’m pretty handy but I dont do coding and my electronics understanding is very basic so with the right help I know I can tackle this.

let me know what can be done and for what I can’t do my self I will gladly pay for the work

I don’t use LiPo batteries but I believe that others have used 7.4 V batteries with success.

Adding a video screen is not a simple thing, so that would be quite a bit of work. I don’t know what the easiest solution would be. You’d need some single-board computer to play a video on it probably. Keep investigating and you may find a solution.

Making progress on the wiring. Also I think I figured out the small screen to play a video . I think I am gonna use a tablet that way I can upload new videos easily and I don’t have to build from scratch

Good idea to just use a tablet. Much easier. Great work!

Ok quick question where exactly is the positive pin on the voltage regulator so I can install the relay for the louder siren I bought . If there’s a picture or something it would be greatly appreciated

It is the rightmost pin as viewed from the top.
