Screen flickering

For some reason, while the hackvision is on and connected to the TV, the screen goes blank every couple of seconds. Before the screen goes black, the graphics are clear and sharp. When the picture comes back, the graphics are all grainy and flickery until the screen goes black again. Is this a software issue or did I accidentally short something on the board?

Definitely not a software issue. Look for shorts, and feel free to send a clear picture of the back of the board to support@nootropicdesign.com.

Is it possible I damaged the atmega by accidentally trying to upload with the FTDI adapter backwards? There’s a small scratch on the bottom of the board with some of the copper showing.

I don’t think the ATmega328 chip is damaged because it’s running.
I would check the connections on the resistors and diodes. Feel free to send a picture, too.
