sockets ?

    hello
    why don’t you don’t put sockets for
    the 74HC595 chip and the 74LS247 chip?
    since they are very hard to unsolder.

    Every part adds cost and complexity to a product, so that’s why I didn’t include sockets for those chips. The assembly instructions are very clear about which chip goes where.

    yes sure
    I was just asking if there was any reason ( not the extra price)
    because I ever use sockets if they are not disturbing the function of the board
    I may by it in a local store

    Yes, you can certainly use sockets if you’d like.
