I have that problem with the video shield experiment, it’s a known problem and it’s fixed but I’m not capable! Sorry my ignorance, but where do I put the 300 ohm resistance? It Must be put on some pins on the Arduino Uno board? If I wanted to put a potentiometer, how should I do it?
Is there a diagram? Can some kind soul provide me more detailed instructions???
    I beg you!

A solution is to add a 330 ohm resistor in parallel with the 330 ohm resistor on the Video Experimenter board. It is labeled R2 on the board.

Ok, I need to solder the resistence… right? Sorry for my incompetence…

Yes, solder the 330 ohm resistor directly to R2 so that they are in parallel. This creates a resistance of 330/2 = 165 ohms.
