Our milsim paintball team has recently acquired a defusable clock to make into a fake”bomb” prop for our events so we would like to be able to have it set off an electrical smoke “bomb” ( hate to use this word…lol) but we dont know how to go about doing this. Can anyone help with this ?
Thanks…
Sportsmoke is a great product and one I use in all my events.
I run magfed events on the East Cost named “CELL TEAM SIX”. I love making props.
Below is a link to my youtube page with several props among other team stuff.
Anyways back to your original question. It can be done in many ways. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCKENRnUriA&list=UU1Djtqe-B1FMRpFrHCBKlcw

Since you have done it before. Can I ask a question on what is the easiest way to do it?
I was thinking of pulling the power from the led that flashes after the clock goes off. I think that is 5 volts, but I understand that the sport smoke uses 9 volts.
Will this work? Or is there a better way?
Yes, I think you are right about adding the v second 70-480 switch. connecting the DET button pin to ground through another switch would provide you a second way of triggering the detonation function.
