2 video signals?

    I do appreciate the time you have taken to read through my problem. I have 2 video signals that i need to ghost or overlay on top of each other. when i use a simple rca splitter the signal looses sync and my screen goes blue. Is there a solution for this? I dont care if the combined signal scrolls Vertically or horizontally as long the screen stays up and not shutting down to blue. I know the standard video experimenter shield is designed for text over video…but i wonder if it can be adapted. or if it can over write the messed up syncs of the combined signals

    No, the Video Experimenter can’t be adapted for this. It is a very simple device that simply detects the sync in the signal and uses that to correctly time the overlay. It has no real knowledge of the video content itself. It cannot overlay 2 video signals. You will need more sophisticated video equipment for that.
