    Building my own DJ like shield. Will be the same except adding 5 buttons thru voltage divider/ladder like on most LCD shields.

    Question: do the three pot need to be B10k? Are B50k ok? Silly question, but hey digital is new for me ;D

    50K is fine. The value read by analogRead() will be in the range of 0-1023 regardless of the resistance.
