I purchased the Audio Hacker & DJ shield assembled.
I’m using it with a Duemilanove and IDE 1.6.0 (newest).
The 12 and 8 bit sampler examples work ok, but the voice changer just hangs up. The reason I think it hangs up is that the first (and only) serial report is this:

sample rate = 42000 Hz, recording sample rate = 2

    when it should be this:

sample rate = 42000 Hz, recording sample rate = 2 Hz

So it looks like the ISR interrupts the serial output and never returns.
    My questions are:
    1. Is anyone else having this problem?
    2. Is there an update for this example?
    3. Any suggestions?

Does it work when you disable the debugging?

Yes, it works with debug off.
I also built it with IDE 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 which both work ok with debug on and off.
So IDE 1.6.0 and debug on is the problem child.

Oh, thanks for reporting this issue. It seems Arduino 1.6.0 is causing a lot of problems with some sketches.

No, an SD card is not fast enough for realtime recording/playback at the same time?
